#Carers Week 2021
This year, Carers Week takes place from 7-13 June. Carers Week is a national initiative which highlights the importance of unpaid carers, the challenges that they face and recognition of the contribution that they make to families and their communities.

On the 8th of June POhWER, with the support of Elssa Keegan from Advocacy Matters, will provide an overview of the advocacy services provided by POhWER and Advocacy Matters in Birmingham: Care Act, IMHA, IMCA, NHS Complaints and Community, with some examples/case studies of how this support has been of benefit to carers at the conference from 11-12pm
