A Massive thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund for awarding ‘Hear to Help’ £9895 to help our community.
This could not have come at a better time when the whole country is returning to tighter restrictions because of coronavirus and we are all under the threat of a further lockdown.
Older Adults, disabled people and other vulnerable groups need support from projects like ‘Hear to Help’ as they are at more risk from the virus and getting food, paying bills and staying independent is getting tougher.
Advocacy Matters will listen to you and support you to find the information you need at this time of national crisis. You may just need a listening ear someone to tell your fears and support you when you are low.
Jean said ‘I have been getting upset and tearful, being isolated. My family have helped but talking to my volunteer has made things seem much better. Something to look forward to weekly’. Read Our Stories
