We provide free and confidential Independent Advocacy to adults aged 18 to 65 years of age who live in Birmingham and are registered with a GP surgery within the Birmingham and Solihull CCG. We support people who have a Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment and/or have experienced a Stroke or Brain Injury. We can provide support to individuals who are facing an issue or crisis situation in their life and who need independent support to address this.

Physical Disability advocacy can help with situations that are compromising an individual’s health and wellbeing. We can support you when you feel no-one is listening to you, when you feel you have been treated unfairly and in times when you feel your health is being affected by issues in your life. We can also support in End of Life situations.

Independent Advocacy can help you to access information, be involved in decisions about your own life, explore choices and options, defend and promote your rights and interests and support you to speak up about issues that are important to you.
