Advocacy Matters says thank you with all ‘Our Hearts’ to the Heart of England Community Foundation for funding us to ‘Do things Differently’. The money we have been awarded is going to enable our volunteers to access computers and upgraded phones so they are able to keep in touch with the vulnerable people we advocate for via social media , Zoom and Skype.
We will now be able to by the PPE we need to start to visit vulnerable and disabled people again and keep everyone safe as we come out of lockdown.
This will provide a vital link for isolated people in our community. A listening ear and now also a friendly face when they have no one else to turn to or to help them.
